2 BEES FROM OAKLAND

RATED W (because it's next to X) After the Queens of Comedy Tour I fell into a deep depression. One day while lying in bed I grabbed my Hi8 camcorder and vented to the one-eyed therapist and it gave me relief, so I began to tape everything. "2 BEES FROM OAKLAND" is a slice of my life and that of my homie and fellow comedian, LUENELL. She was relocating to LA to take her standup to the next level....I was transitioning out of standup to focus on my passion for dramatic acting. Then things began to happen from our husbands disappearing for days, facing sexism, to Luenell revealing a horrible childhood secret.  It shows our struggle as former felons from Oakland CA turned actor/comedians, living the fast entertainment life, hustling to get time on stage, auditioning, and working on working. Come with us as we travel to local, national, international clubs and theaters to perform...And then there's the occurrence that even we didn't see coming.
